Since 2000 Marco Geuna has been Associate Professor of History of Political Philosophy at the Department of Philosophy, University of Milan. Seventeenth and Eighteenth Century modern political philosophy is at the core of his research: in particular natural law theories and republican theories in the Anglo-Saxon tradition. He has also worked on the modern just war tradition and has actively participated to the contemporary debates on democracy, liberalism and republicanism.

Italian translator and editor of works by Agnes Heller, Philip Pettit and Quentin Skinner, he is member of the Editorial Board of the following scientific journals: "Rivista di Storia della filosofia", "Filosofia politica" and "Teoria politica".
